Darling Dougie, 18 month old labrador mix

A super smart boy when he wants to be Dougie loves to learn especially for something tasty like liver cake! He knows some lovely commands and loves to learn just for fun! He has an incredible urge to please you and loves to work with you,
He also loves a good long lasting chewy

Dougie can be worried meeting new people mainly men, but given time and slow introductions he soon come round and you have a friend for life

In foster he has been learning all about the joys of meeting people and is now comfortable to make friends.

He can be an excited bouncy boy when you enter the home, Dougie needs someone confident and firm or he can get carried away with his paws greeting you, sometimes he can't help himself

Dougie LOVES his people and being close to you, if he can be touching you, he will, he is a big love bug! Who loves to lay back for a good belly rub. 

Dougie loves to play, tuggy is a favourite! And he's been learning fetch too. 

This darling boy is looking for someone who can commit to continue his training to help him be the superstar he is. 

He is an active lad and will need a good sized garden to burn some energy off in as well as fun walks and enrichment. 

And after a full day of fun what he really wants is someone to snuggle up with on the sofa

Dougie would prefer someone around most of the day, he’s only been left the occasional hour he’ll need someone who can build up his time left as he does get worried when left. 

His Foster home have been doing some amazing work with him.

Dougie  could share his home with another dog or as an only dog 

Dougie can be homed with children 10 years+

We will consider applicant’s who work full time, but will need evidence of what provision is in place for the dog to be cared for.
