We have been asked to look for a new home for Poppy, who is currently in St Albans.
Poppy is a 1year 4 months old and has been described as a cheeky little monkey but also a loving little girl who is great at giving kisses once she gets to know you. As you can see from the photos, she has an underbite, but this doesn’t affect her in anyway at all - it's kind of cute.
She has plenty of energy and can get overly excited and has been known to nip (not in a bad way) as with any dog, with on-going training, she will hopefully calm down and listen to commands.
Poppy is a sock stealer she loves to pick them up and play with them in her mouth – so be warned!
Poppy can be left crated but will sometimes bark. Poppy has a brother who she likes to play and get up to mischief with but it not very good with other female dogs, so ideally, she should be an only dog or a home which has a male.
Poppy is ok with older children in the home, who understand that she may need time and space to herself and will come to them for a fuss on her terms.
Poppy just really need some training and will be a fantastic dog for an experienced home.
We are looking for a foster home with a view to adoption.
