MEET VINNIE
Amazing Vinnie
A 2 year old Greyhound
Vinnie is just beautiful, when he first meets people he is shy and likes to approach when he's ready. He is learning the joys of ear scratches And treats that people can provide so is becoming more confident by the day. He is a very sweet and gentle boy.
Vinnie has come from racing kennels, he only raced once and didn't like it. He is now learning about home life, the noises and smells and the joys of being a pet. He is nervous of new things and likes to take his time to understand them, he's a real thinker! But he is thriving in foster and learning so much everyday, his confidence is growing and his character is starting to shine through.
He could live with another dog, he has mixed with small, medium and large and is good with all. He could also live as an only dog but would love to have dog friends. He is also in foster with cats and has been good, he could live with confident cats.
Vinnie is very easy to care for, he likes a comfy bed to snooze the day away in. He does enjoy a nice walk and exploring, he loves a little run and nosing in all the hedges. There is a playful boy waiting to come out, he's very curious when the other dogs are playing with toys and he also enjoys joining them in a game of chase in the secure field.
Vinnie is house trained, he's also happy to test out a crate, not that he needs one.
He hasn't yet been left but due to his back ground he Should be OK being left for short periods but it will need to be built up as he settles in.
Whoever adopts Vinnie is going to be getting such A fantastic boy. He will need time to continue to adjust to the new world he is now exploring. He may stop and take things in occasionally But he's just learning.
