Meet Jabu & MACKIE

 Jabu & Mackie 

A bonded senior duo looking for their forever home  Jabu and Mackie are a beautiful bonded pair with a reduced adoption fee— they truly are two peas in a pod.  

Jabu is a 13-year-old Jack Russell who is friendly, gentle, and adores both people and other dogs. While he’s happy doing his own thing at home, he relies on Mackie for emotional support. You’ll usually find him curled up snoozing on the sofa… unless he’s following you around to see what you’re up to!  

Mackie is a 9-year-old Pug x Jack Russell who loves people just as much. She’s happiest snuggled up beside you or curled on your lap, and she’ll happily shadow you until she settles in next to Jabu for a nap.  Mackie is dog-friendly, though she can bark when excited on the lead — something her foster carer is actively working on, with great progress already being made. Jabu sometimes joins in, but both are learning quickly.  

These two are looking for a new home after sadly losing both of their owners close together. They have been deeply loved, and it shows in their wonderful manners and affectionate nature.  

Home life: • Very easy-going and well-behaved • Happy to be left for a few hours — they’ll just snooze together • Love sleeping on the bed and having lie-ins • Well trained and eager to please  

Lifestyle & needs: • Enjoy daily walks — happy to go as far as you like • Could live with cats (previous experience, no reaction on walks) • Suitable for children aged 8+ • Best suited to a calm, quieter home  

Health: Mackie requires a hypoallergenic diet and monthly baths due to yeasty skin, which is well managed with the correct food.  

These two are truly special and bring endless affection, comfort, and joy. They are devoted to each other and will make a lucky family incredibly happy.
