Getting to know Dolly

Everything you need to know about Dolly, her personality and the home she is hoping for.

Dolly loves people, and people absolutely love Dolly! This gorgeous girl is an absolute darling who adores cuddles, strokes, attention and generally being the centre of someone's world. She even has her own little fan club at Costa, where she enjoys going along with her foster mum and soaking up the admiration from her daily admirers. And who can blame them?

Dolly enjoys gentle, sniff-filled strolls, taking her time to investigate the world around her. Back home, she loves playing with her toys, chasing a ball and occasionally having a mad five minutes, before heading straight back to her favourite hobby: cuddling! She's housetrained, has lovely basic training and is a very well-behaved little lady. She prefers to do her toileting out on walks rather than in the garden, so regular strolls are important to her. Dolly can be left for short periods, with time alone built up gradually as she settles into her new home.

Cats? Absolutely! Dolly has always lived with cats and is completely unbothered by them, so she's more than happy to share her castle with a feline friend. When it comes to other dogs, a princess has standards: Dolly would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, as she's rather fond of having all the attention to herself. Out on walks she can sometimes be a little vocal around other dogs. She isn't looking for trouble, she's just a little unsure and hasn't had much experience meeting dogs out and about. Given time and space she can relax and make friends, and she would benefit from continued positive, confidence-building experiences with calm, friendly dogs. Dolly loves children and could happily live with children aged 8 and over, although she'd prefer a quieter household.

Dolly's dream castle is a loving, relatively calm home where she can enjoy her walks, play with her toys, visit her adoring public and, most importantly, receive an unlimited supply of love and cuddles. She doesn't need grand adventures or a hectic lifestyle, just a quieter household where she can enjoy her peaceful princess lifestyle.

If you can offer someone to love, a comfy place to snooze and perhaps the occasional trip to Costa to remind the world how fabulous she is, Dolly could be your perfect match. Every princess deserves her castle, and Dolly is ready to find hers. If you'd like to offer Dolly her forever home, please apply to adopt her or get in touch to find out more.
