Surrendering your dog

Requirements if you need a dog to come into our rescue

Please call or email us and we will try to respond promptly to any emails.

We would reply asking for pictures of the said dog their vet history within the last 6 months to be emailed over to us and for the owners to fill in an all about me.

Once we have received these we will then discuss with the dog team if a suitable fosterer is available to be able to look after him or her.

We will then get one of the dog team volunteers to make arrangements with the owner to come and assess the dog.

Once we have all required paperwork and the assessment is completed we will then set up a move in to foster group chat where you can make arrangements with the fosterer to bring the dog in to rescue.

You will then be required to sign our surrender form which means the dog has been signed over to us.

We will of course allow you to have 24 hour updates from the fosterers of how the dog is settling in after those 24 hours we will then remove the owner from the group chat and the said dog will then stay in foster until a new home is found.

Here at HDCUK we will try to help where we can and if we can't help for any reason we will of course try to help by recommending other rescue centres
