Myla is a 5-year-old mixed breed with a quirky personality and so much love to give — once you’re in her circle.
She enjoys people’s company but prefers things done on her terms. Myla likes to take her time getting to know you and will approach when she’s ready. Give her that space and patience, and she soon blossoms into the sweetest little friend. If she ever feels pressured, she’ll let you know with a bark — she’s simply asking for a little breathing room.
But when Myla feels safe and loved? You’re rewarded with an affectionate, happy girl who gives you her whole heart. ❤️
Originally from Romania, Myla has been in the UK for a while and has previously lived in a home. Unfortunately, the environment became too busy for her, and it was in her best interests to return to rescue to find a more suitable match.
Due to her past, Myla does have some resource guarding behaviours around high-value items (such as long-lasting chews). This will require ongoing management in the home. She is currently in foster with experienced carers who have been working hard on her training, and a full handover and continued support will be provided to her adopters.
🏡 We are ideally looking for;
🐾An adult-only home or children aged 14+ who can respect her space
🐾A calm environment
🐾An owner committed to continuing her training
🐶 She has lived alone and with other dogs, but due to her needs, we feel she would thrive as the only dog in the home.
🐱 She has previously lived with cats with mixed results, so we are seeking a cat-free home.
Myla is a happy, active girl who enjoys her walks and loves to play and engage with her people. She truly is a little gem — she just needs the right home to shine.
She isn’t a “walk straight in and fuss me” kind of dog… but she is absolutely worth the time.
